Hey all,
Just wanted to share the great news. When Attends changed their products and sent me into that mini crisis during camp, and I told mom that my incontinece expenses might be going up even more, she said something about talking to Social Securtity to see if we can get it so that the money I spend on diapers and other related items out of pocket would not count against my income when they figure my SSI payments. She told me today that they can do that. All I need to do is send in the receipts(in my case, I think vouchers would suffice) of everything i purhcased...This is great news. So, if you are on SSI, and working, any diapers you pay out of pocket for might not be counted against your SSI if you can show them receipts. This will probably be a big help to some of us on this board..just thought id let you all know!
Peace out!
Rob
