Removing smell from furniture etc.

My wife mentioned to me the other day, that she have started noticing that our couches are starting to smell a bit.

Some of the reason is that our rather big dog is accustomed to be in our couch, something my wife has let him do from when he was a puppy. but now that he’s almost grown up (50+ kg), he pretty much occupies all the space in the couch – a Bernese really do take up a lot of space in a couch….I mentioned to my wife that the smell could come from our dog sitting / sleeping in our couach, however she also mentioned, me in the past have experienced a couple of accidents  (which I immediately cleaned up then….I have used a bedpad ever since….. )

However are there any products available which can cleanse a couch from urine stains from either a dog dribbling a bit or a human being leaking a bit :(

There are a number of enzymatic cleaners that will work very well. Soaps won't do it, you need an enzyme to bind with the uric acid and skin oils left on your couch. I have 3 dogs and two cats, including a GSD who loves to sit next to me in my easy chair. (double size) I have found "Natures Miracle" to work very well, and is readily available at local retailers.
