The wicking ability of cloth diapers is an advantage; however, if a stray bit of cloth pokes out from the overpant, it can become a liability. Checking to assure that every last bit of cloth is covered must become a religious obligation.

Agreed re the absolute requirement to completely enclose the cloth diaper with plastic pants. I now have changed to using high-back plastic pants that make that much easier. :D They also are cut a bit fuller than the PUL pants I normally use with my cloth diapers. I use my original plastic pants with day-weight diapers during the day and only the high-back pants with night-weight diapers.

I obtained the No-Wick Hi-Back PUL pants, made by Gary, from Driwear/Fetware. Excellent product.

I agree, high rise plastic pants are great to wear over the cloth diapers.
I get mine from Angelfluff.
