My urologist said he's going to perform urethra sling surgery using my own tissue to do it.Has anybody had this done? I'm feeling quite nervous about it all but I can't go on with this incontinence,it's been over 15 years of having to wear heavy pads.... |

I'm glad he is using your tissue to make the repair. Mesh can and has left many people worse off than when they started. A friend of mine had this done with tissue and had great success with it. She does her Kegals and has it down to a dribble ever once and a while. Best of luck, I hope the procedure goes great . |

She was off work for six weeks then came back light duty, the doctor said that he didn't want her to do anything to mess up his work. |
