Sandy, I know it is best to wash plastic pants by hand but I'm a guy (I know, poor excuse) and I think I do well washing diapers in my washing machine. Most of the time I throw my plastic pants in the washer with a load of diapers. Then I put them in the dryer for 5 to 10 min. Babykins recommends this with their pants however it works well on other brands as well. Babykins claims they last longer this way and I tend to agree as my pants seem to be lasting longer before they become stiff & brittle. Then I hang them till the elastics dry. The problem with the Sanipant is the waterproof lining would separate from the fabric and crack sooner than later.

Yep John1050 was right Those Sani Pants are exactly what he said I tried them out and for anyone that hasn't tried them. I can tell you Don't try them they suck I'm sure you could find them in an institution. They would be the only ones dumb enough to use them

that the "Ultra Flex" (polyurathane) pants from Fetware last a long time and are very strong. I use the hi-back ones, using a small for daytime and a medium at night. You can get them in colors but not the fancy prints that some like. They aren't cheap but worth the price because they last so long. Before that I used the Comco brand but the Ultra Flex are just so much better. However, they do "crackle" more so I wear boxer briefs over them to help hold the diaper in place and cut down the noise.

I've got most of my pants from Gary's I've been happy with them for the most part. I also have some(what are they called) Leakmaster pants. They are like super duty. I got them when I was into cloth diapers.

I've used COMCO vinyls for maybe 20 years now...and they hold up
well. As Sandy mentioned, no need to wash them a lot...wipe off with damp cloth and rotate your vinyls so they get air and you'll get good
use from them. I restock about every 3 or 4 years and have learned how to care for them.

I've also used the Malaysian rubber pants offered by HDIS...and although they can be delicate, they will last a while, too. Just that these should NEVER be put into a machine wash with detergent...NEVER. Again, wipe
off your rubber pants, powerder them, rotate and allow to air freely when not in use.

I've never used the Gary or Lange vinyl/plastic pants, but I understand some have had good luck with them, also. I rarely use cloth, but always use either vinyl or rubber overpants on any type diaper or diaper/booster
combination. Just feel safer that way and less worry, day or night.

I got a pair of Salk Health-Dri pants from a medical supply store in Texas. When I first began to have incon issues, it started with post void dribble. The pants had a vinyl waterproof layer in the front and a pad in the middle. They were not very good though. The pant had a mysterious flaw in the design. It had a gaping hole in the front-center of the pant like a fly. Urine leaked right out this hole. I used the pant for dribbling, but the urine would leak right out. After this I started using guards. I threw all my salk pants in the trash.

I've been in diapers for bladder incontinence since 1987, and I've tried just about every style of plastic pants available (much better since the advent of the internet). I've use Sani Pants in the past, but found the fit wasn't quite right (medium too small...large too big). I've always preferred the cut of the Gary pull-ons...especially the 7mm style available through Changing Times Diaper Company.
