Daytime and nighttime protection.

Is this company (the St. Paul, MN manufacturer) still in business? They had a small outlet in St. Paul at about 2nd St. and Whitebear Ave. for many years. The place seems closed now and no phones are answered. I bought my COMCO vinyls from them for years and enjoyed the quality of the
product. I hear there is a knock-off company nearby at Plymouth, MN...but is it the same? same product? Has anyone here done business with the old or "new" COMCO in the past six months to a year? Comments or suggestions? Are the true, quality COMCO vinyls still available from other sources?
Was COMCO bought out to be re-marketed under a new name/brand? Do Gary or Lange pvc products measure up the past few years? Lots of fetish ab/dl stuff around and I'm not interested in that; I need more or less a 'hospital' quality when dealing with good vinyls to wear with either cloth or disposable products for day and night time bladder incontinence.
thanks, folks.
John.

I don't know about Comco. I used to use vinyl pants. They were hot and I sweat. I took other people's advice on this board and use Gary PUL pants from Adult Cloth Diaper. They are cooler and they work very well. I now have 5 pairs. I recommend them if your not too hooked on Comco.

I can not add any current info on either "Comco" company; I do recall the splintering off and creation of a second company that led to much confusion.
If Comco is down and out and you are seeking a good quality vinyl pant I have to recommend KINS (Babykins) in Canada. And while they do cater to the AB/DL folks, their mid weight vinyl pants, #20300V, are top notch; well made and durable. They are available in plain white! Once I discovered the KINS vinyl pants I no longer wore Comco. The Lycra leg and waist bands are every bit as comfortable as the distinctive padded waistband of Comco vinyl pants.
And Don is right about PUL; I think it is the waterproof pant of the future offering comfort and breathability not found with vinyl pants.

I will have to agree again with the recomendation of the PUL pants. I use them with my cloth diapers all the time and I love the breathability with them. Plus they do work well to control leaks even at night. I very rarely have a problem with them and then it is always because of position of the pants and diaper. If the diaper pokes out above the pants in the back, then if I am lying on my back I will leak. That's kind of a 'duh' statement I guess but that is the only time I have any problems with them. I have found with constant wear they last a good 3 to 4 months. I rotate with only 2 so I probably wear through them faster. I usually rinse/wash in the shower in the morning and hang to dry. So I have one on and one drying every day.

As far as I know Comco is alive and well but I don’t know if it is the original company or not but if it is not they are exactly the same and the quality is excellent.
