Over the years I have had perhaps twelve or more cardiac CT scans, with contrast. No issues. No problems. Until the cardiac CT scan I had this afternoon. The contraast hit me like a hot pepper injection into my arm, and everywhere else. Fortunately, I was wearing a heavy nighttime diaper, so no harm was done. The relief was enormous; no cleanup was necessary. Dressing appropriately means a whole lot more to incontinents than it means to nearly everybody else.

That is worrisome. I'l be scheduled for a cardiac CT scan in about 7 months (long waits in Ontario if you're not "urgent"). Sounds like I should prepare for the worst, just in case.
