I had my six months' neurologist appointment last week. She asked about my spinal injury and checked my reflexes. No surprise there. She remarked about double incontinence, and asked whether I used diapers; when I said I did, she agreed that was the best management solution. One problem was that my thyroid seems to be becoming overactive, which will need attention. Although incontinence pales in comparison to the other potentially lethal conditions, such as cancers and cardiac disease, it still needs regular medical supervision. I'm glad I went.
