I am plagued with pressure wounds where my inner thigh meets my crotch.
When I sit down it gets too tight down there. I can't weat my diaper lower because then they would leak. (I've tried that..)
Especially the pullups are contributing to this. They become like a sharp edge into the wound.
Here I can't choose between too many brands of diapers.
Cloth diapers might be a solution. but I would have to order them from abroad, so I hesitate on that..
Anyone else with similar experience?

I've had a few brands of pullups do that, less so with the tape on.
A moisture barrier cream to aid with healing might help. I use this most of the time just as a preventative.

I do rotate protection methods among pullups with boosters to tape on to cloth. Perhaps I've avoided
any one brand from causing the repetitive 'pressure cutting' you experience.

John.

Your wounds must be really aggravating. Have you contacted a medical doctor, or a pelvic floor therapist? Because such wounds are a continuing threat for all of us here, I look forward to learning how you manage. Good luck.

I am better now. For two nights I managed to sleep without protection. I just took the risk... And went to the toilet numerous times.
I have figured out that the problem occured after a period where I was not at my best mentally. I guess that I have been sitting too long in a bad position without noticing. The key I found that really helped was to be a little more up and moving, even only a minute in upright position increased the flow of blood to the affected area. I know anti pressure wound matresses shift regularly the areas of pressure, so I try to mimic that effect.
If it comes again, I hope I will register it earlier than this time, and take action.

I tried to stand up and walk a little a few times every hour, and after a wetting or visit to the toilet, I took the chance and pulled the diaper a little down to relieve the pressure on the affected area. Another alternative I concidered was a loose fitting cloth diaper with plastic bloomers at night. I could not do that this time because it takes too long time to order that from abroad.

Optimist:

This is a good option and you might well order the cloth + plastic / vinyl bloomers for night wear. Among the variety of protection options available, this is one of mine and is used as the situation
requires.

Hopefully, your pressure would will not return, but at least you'll have another option among your protection supplies.

Be well....

John.
