You have patiently accepted my complaints in the past. This is not a complaint. One threat that gastric paralysis poses is that the frequent regurgitation/vomiting it causes leads to esophageal cancer by eroding the esophagus with stomach acid. Last week my ENT doctor ran a scope down my esophagus to check it out, and the result is that I do not have cancer or even the precursor to cancer. Warning: If your doctor tells you that your esophagus needs to be scoped, wear your heaviest protection. You will need it. Meanwhile, I'm still celebrating. |

Patrick, that is awesome news, and yes the last time I had surgery I left a pond on my bed. Thank God for my wife and a very helpful RN. |
