How about a special section for airports, where people can share what they find when they travel.
For example I recently flew from terminal 7 at KFK in NY, and found that while the main security check had a full scanner, if you go all the way to the left past the BA counters you get to a security check that only has a metal detector.
I was also in Heathrow in London and found that while the terminal has a store from Boots the chemist, the don't carry incon supplies, so you shouldn't count on them.
I'm sure info like this will interest people here.

Hi

Embarrassment is a state of mind in the early days I hated people knowing that I was incontinent and wore diapers and the like especially at Airports. I now don’t care, if the security staff have a problem it is their problem to own not mine. I have developed a thick skin and this is one of the good sides of having incontinence no shame or embarrassment anymore. I have adopted the “Sticks and Stones May Break Bones but Names Will Never Hurt Me” approach and works every time now.

To be honest to my surprise other passengers have been great with their support when they know truly humbling.

Although this is well beyond the capabilities of this site, perhaps AAA or some other travel agency could develop the resources to investigate, evaluate and publish their findings about the cleanliness, availability and usefulness of handicapped facilities around the planet. There have been times when I have sorely wanted to know.

I like that idea. The thread name for each airport should begin with the three letter code (ATL, ICN...) and then the full name (Atlanta GA, Seoul Korea).

AARP would be a good group for that.

I like this idea of having this list. As I travel this is always the question I ask myself. Do I need to change (body scan) or is it OK (metal detector) to go through customs like it is. On the contrary, while being rushed, sometimes I don't have the time to change. The security people never complain or ask uncomfortable questions.
Bob.

Thank-you for the great idea for the forum. :D :D

I have now set up a new topic for it.
